Masala Souvlaki Wrap (chicken, paneer, or tofu)

Ingredients:


•    For the Masala Souvlaki (Grilled Protein):


o    200g chicken, paneer, or tofu (cubed) - Your preference!
o    1 tbsp olive oil
o    ½ tsp cumin powder
o    ½ tsp coriander powder
o    ½ tsp smoked paprika
o    ½ tsp garam masala
o    ½ tsp turmeric
o    1 tsp lemon juice
o    ½ tsp salt


•    For the Yogurt Sauce:


o    ½ cup Greek yogurt  

o    ½ tsp garlic paste
o    ½ tsp chaat masala
o    ½ tsp dried oregano
o    1 tbsp chopped fresh mint or dill
o    Salt to taste


•    For Assembling the Wrap:


o    2 Greek pitas or Indian naans
o    ½ cup chopped cucumbers
o    ½ cup diced tomatoes
o    ¼ cup sliced red onions
o    ½ cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)

Instructions:


1.    Marinate the Protein:
o    Mix olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, garam masala, turmeric, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl.
o    Coat the chicken, paneer, or tofu in the marinade and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
2.    Grill or Sauté:
o    Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Cook the protein for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
3.    Prepare the Yogurt Sauce:
o    In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, garlic paste, chaat masala, oregano, mint/dill, and salt. Stir well.
4.    Assemble the Wrap:
o    Warm the pita or naan.
o    Spread a layer of yogurt sauce.
o    Add grilled masala souvlaki pieces, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and crumbled feta (if using).
o    Wrap it up and serve warm!
